Frank Yacenda, Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Opportunities International, Inc., is the company’s driving force. He maintains close contact with Alpha Opportunities’ clients and prides himself on providing the highest level of personalized customer service.
Frank’s career spans more than four decades, and includes experience as a journalist and science writer, public relations and marketing practitioner, university professor, and Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State.
During his 11 years as a member of the U.S. diplomatic corps, from 1988 to 1999, Frank served in Fiji, Algeria, Albania, and Brazil, as well as in the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research in Washington, where he covered the Middle East. Among his assignments, he was a consular officer, general services officer, economic and commercial officer, and intelligence analyst. In his last posting he was the top U.S. counter-narcotics policy official in Brazil.
Frank brings the breadth of his experience as well as his international perspective to Alpha Opportunities, and he serves as a knowledgeable guide for both overseas and domestic clients.
Along with heading Alpha Opportunities, Frank also is President and CEO of AcquaPro Worldwide, Inc., which developed and offers a system of large-scale, mobile, modular desalination.
Frank has lived and worked in eight countries outside the U.S. and has visited more than 70 countries and territories, as well as all 50 U.S. states. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Planning and Studies from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and a Master of Arts in Mass Communication degree, with a specialization in International Communication, from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
